To gain knowledge in various fabrics available, their suitability in dying and printing.
To acquire professional skills in the field of pattern making and garment manufacturing and marketing.
To gain knowledge of computer aided design in the field of textile and fashion designing and CAD/CAM application in the field of apparel industry.
Eligibility of the course:
Pass in any Higher Secondary course examination of the State Board.
Pass in any other equivalent examination to Higher Secondary course of State Board / Central Board Pass in any Textile related Diploma Course is eligible to admit in Direct Second Year of this UG Course.
Duration of the Course:
The course for the degree of Bachelor of Science - Textiles and Fashion Designing shall extend over a period of three academic years - 6 semesters and each semester normally consisting of 90 working days or 450 hours.
