To provide the basic and essential knowledge regarding various activities undertaken and necessary to run socially responsible business organization.

To develop the personality so as to become responsible citizen with greater awareness about the Indian society and its culture.
Eligibiligy:
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce - Computer Applications, shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Business Statistics as one the subjects (or) an examination of any other university or authority accepted by the syndicate of Periyar University as equivalent thereto.
Duration of the Course:
The course for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce shall consist of three academic years divided into six semesters.
