To develop the Post Graduates in Computer Science with strong knowledge of theoretical computer science subjects who can be employed in research and development units of industries and academic institutions.
Eligibiligy:
A candidate who has passed B.Sc., Computer Science / BCA / B.Sc., Computer Technology / B.Sc., Information Science degree of Periyar University or any of the degree of any other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M.Sc., Computer Science degree examination of Periyar University after a course of study of two academic years.
Duration of the Course:
The course for the degree of M.Sc., Computer Science shall consist of two academic years divided into four semesters. Each semester consist of 90 working days.
