A candidate who has passed a Bachelor degree in Science with Micobiology / Botany / Zoology / Environmental Science / Biotechnologyy / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Home Secience / Nutrition and Dietetics / B.Sc., MLT / Genetics / Bio-informatics / Marine Biology or a bachelor degree in Agriculture / Animal Science / Medicine or Veterinary Science / Pharmacy and including Indian Forms of Medicines and Homeopathy degree of this University or any of the above degree of any other University accepted by syndicates as equivalent thereto, subjects to such conditions as may prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M.Sc., Applied Microbiology degree examination of Periyar University after a course of study of two academic years.
Duration of the Course:
The course for the degree of Master of Applied Microbiology shall consist of two academic years divided into four semesters. Each semester consist of 90 working days.
